In a charming area that’s close to major sites, I found it the perfect escape from tourist crowds. The staff were incredibly accommodating, assisting with everything from local transport to carrying luggage. Morning breakfasts were delightful with fresh juices and pastries. Just be prepared for steep stairs if you have heavy baggage!

Family with children will enjoy this

The breakfast spread was amazing, plenty of pastries and hot coffee, it really set the day right. The staff was friendly, always ready to help us with our requests, even prepared a special kids menu when they heard we had children....  

I loved the quaint decor and convenient location by a canal, just a short stroll to the vaporetto stop.

Consider requesting your room away from the main hallway for extra peace during your stay, especially if you're sensitive to noise.

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Pausania. Charming Venetian decor, incredibly helpful staff, and a great location near Dorsoduro's attractions made my visit delightful. Room size was a bit small, but the overall experience was wonderful and I appreciated the local tips from the staff.

It was just a suitable option for a city holiday in Venice with great value. The bathroom in my room had a typical size most Americans are used to, which was a nice surprise. Be sure to explore the nearby squares for some great food options.
